How to Craft a Wooden Paxel

Gather the Materials

A Wooden Paxel combines axe, pickaxe and shovel behaviour in one tool. You need planks and sticks, the same base materials as a wooden tool.

Crafting Steps

1. Open a crafting table.

2. Place planks and sticks in the crafting grid following the shapeless recipe for the Wooden Paxel.

3. Take the finished Wooden Paxel from the output slot.

The recipe is shapeless, so the exact arrangement of planks and sticks in the grid does not matter as long as the correct counts are present. Once crafted, the Wooden Paxel can mine stone, dirt, wood and similar blocks without swapping tools.

Use it as your first paxel before moving up the material tiers. Because it is wooden, it has low durability and mining speed, so treat it as a starter tool and upgrade as soon as you have better materials.
