Using the Shiny Charm to Boost Your Hunt

What the Shiny Charm Does

The Shiny Charm is a special item included in this mod that aids your creature collection journey by improving your odds of encountering shiny Pokémon.

How to Use It

Once you obtain the Shiny Charm, keep it in your inventory while you hunt for shiny creatures. The charm works passively—you don't need to equip it or activate it. Simply having it on you increases the likelihood that wild Pokémon spawns will be shiny.

Maximizing Your Hunts

Combine the Shiny Charm with exploration across multiple biomes. Different biomes spawn different Pokémon, so traveling through ice fields, oceans, rocky terrain, and forests gives you access to a wider variety of potential shiny encounters. The charm stacks with your natural hunting efforts, making extended exploration sessions more rewarding. Track your discoveries using the custom advancements to see which rarity tiers you've already found and which variants you're still hunting for.
