Choosing the Best Flying Mount for Speed

Evaluate Your Flying Options

The mod boosts many flying Pokémon, but some excel in different situations. Flying mounts like Corviknight, Salamence, and Hydreigon are among the fastest for sustained travel across large distances. Togekiss and Altaria offer good speed with better maneuverability in tight spaces. For pure velocity in open skies, Aerodactyl and Staraptor deliver rapid acceleration.

Consider Your Terrain

If you're exploring mountainous or forested regions, choose a mount with responsive handling—Braviary works well here. For crossing oceans and flat plains, the heavier fliers like Salamence maintain speed better against wind resistance mechanics. Noivern is excellent for cave systems where you need quick directional changes.

Test Before Committing

Ride each boosted flying mount for a few minutes to feel the speed difference. The mod's rebalancing makes all of them viable, so pick based on your exploration style. Remember that faster mounts consume stamina quicker if you have stamina enabled, so balance speed with endurance for long journeys.
