Running Multiple Cobble Gens in Parallel

Why Parallel Generators

A single Cobble Gen Tier1 produces cobblestone slowly. Rather than waiting for one generator to climb the tiers, you can craft several Tier1 generators and upgrade them side by side. Each one follows the same crafting_shaped upgrade path independently.

Setting Up a Row

1. Craft as many Cobble Gen Tier1 blocks as you have materials for.

2. Place them in a line or grid where you can reach all of them.

3. Collect cobblestone from all of them.

4. When you have enough materials for Cobble Gen Tier2, upgrade one generator at a time, keeping the rest running.

Upgrading one at a time means you never lose all your cobblestone output at once. The generators you have not yet upgraded keep producing while you work on the next tier.

Balancing Upgrades

There is a tradeoff between width and height. Ten Tier1 generators produce more than one Tier1, but one Tier5 generator may outperform several lower tiers. A practical approach is to keep a small number of generators and push them up the chain together, rather than building a huge field of Tier1s that you never upgrade.

Decide how many Tier5 generators you ultimately want, then craft exactly that many Tier1s and walk them all up the chain in lockstep.
