How to Craft a Cobble Gen Tier1

Getting Your First Generator

Cobble Gen Tier1 is the entry point of the CobbleForDays progression. You need it before any higher tier becomes available, since every later tier is built from the one below it.

Place the ingredients for the Cobble Gen Tier1 recipe into a crafting table using the shaped layout. The recipe is a crafting_shaped recipe, so the position of each ingredient in the grid matters — mirroring or shifting the pattern will not produce the block.

Placing and Using It

Once crafted, Cobble Gen Tier1 is a block. Place it on the ground like any other block. It generates cobblestone for you, which is the resource the entire mod is named after.

Do not build more Tier1 generators than you need. Each one you keep is a block you could instead upgrade. The moment you have enough cobblestone to craft the next tier, break the Tier1 and use it as an ingredient rather than leaving it running.

What Comes Next

Cobble Gen Tier1 is the only tier you craft from raw materials. Tier2 through Tier5 all consume the previous tier as part of their shaped recipe. Keep your Tier1 generator until you have the materials for Tier2, then upgrade in place.
