Installing Citadel Up Correctly for Mod Packs
Placement and Requirements
Citadel Up must be installed in your mods folder alongside any mods that depend on it. It requires:
- A compatible mod loader (Forge or Fabric, depending on the mod pack)
- The correct version for your Minecraft version
- Sufficient RAM allocated to your game instance
Installation Checklist
1. Download Citadel Up for your mod loader and Minecraft version
2. Place the .jar file directly in your mods folder
3. Launch the game — the mod loader will detect it automatically
4. Install any mods that list Citadel Up as a dependency into the same mods folder
5. Launch again and check the log for errors
Verifying Success
If Citadel Up loads correctly:
- The game launches without "missing dependency" errors
- Custom mobs from dependent mods appear and animate smoothly
- No warnings about Citadel appear in the log
If you're using a pre-built mod pack, Citadel Up should already be included. Only manually install it if the pack's documentation specifies it's missing.
