How to Craft and Use Scorched Wood

Getting Scorched Logs

Scorched Stem and Scorched Hyphae are the two log forms of the scorched wood set. Strip them at a crafting grid to get Stripped Scorched Stem and Stripped Scorched Hyphae. Turn any log into Scorched Planks, then branch out into the full build set.

Scorched Shelf gives you a storage surface for your base. Scorched Sign and Scorched Hanging Sign label chests and paths. Scorched Door and Scorched Trapdoor close off rooms and openings. Scorched Button and Scorched Pressure Plate wire up redstone doors.

Decorating With Scorched Plants

Scorched Shrub, Scorched Sprouts, and Scorched Tendrils are the plant decorations that match the wood. Place them on suitable ground around your scorched build for a burnt, ashen look. Scorched Tendrils work well hanging or trailing near Scorched Fence and Scorched Trapdoor setups. Pair Scorched Planks with Ash and Ash Block for a consistent palette — Ash Pile is the thin ground layer, Ash Block is the solid building form.
