How to Spawn a Quagsire and Farm Its Drops

Spawning a Quagsire

Use the Quagsire Spawn Egg to place a Quagsire in the world. This is the only spawn method listed for the mod, so the egg is your starting point for every Quagsire material.

What You Get From It

A Quagsire provides two materials:

• Quagsire Mucus
• Quagsire Skin

These are the inputs for everything else in the mod. The Quagsire Shovel is the tool associated with working these materials, and the Quagsire Block is built from Mucus and Skin together.

Farming Loop

1. Spawn a Quagsire with the Quagsire Spawn Egg.

2. Collect Quagsire Mucus and Quagsire Skin.

3. Repeat as needed to build a stock.

What to Do With the Drops

Once you have Mucus and Skin, you have two uses:

• Craft the Quagsire Shovel so you have the proper tool.
• Craft a Quagsire Block using the shaped recipe that combines Mucus and Skin.

Because both the shovel and the block draw on the same two materials, farm more than one Quagsire's worth before you start crafting. That way you can make a shovel and still have enough left over for at least one Quagsire Block.
