How to Craft and Use the Chisel

Crafting the Chisel

Start by crafting a Chisel. It is the core tool for converting one block into its variants. Once you have it, hold the Chisel and right-click a compatible block to open the chisel interface. The interface shows the block you are targeting and the available output variants.

Chiseling Blocks

Place the block you want to convert in the world or hold it in your inventory. With the Chisel in hand, right-click the block. Select a variant from the interface to transform it. Each operation consumes one block and produces one variant. You can chisel blocks such as Concrete, Factory Block, Futura Block, Grimstone, Hex Plating, Holystone, Laboratory Block, Lavastone, Military, Mossy Blackstone, Mossy Temple Block, Paperwall, Road Lines, Shingles, Technical Block, Temple Block, Tyrian, Valentine's Block, Voidstone, Warning Sign, and Waterstone.

Upgrading Your Chisel

If you need faster or more efficient chiseling, craft a Diamond Chisel or an Obsidian Chisel. These are direct upgrades to the basic Chisel. The Diamond Chisel and Obsidian Chisel function the same way but offer improved durability or speed. Use them exactly like the basic Chisel: right-click a block and pick a variant.

Automation

For automatic chiseling, craft an Auto Chisel. Place it down and supply it with blocks and the desired variant. The Auto Chisel processes blocks without manual input. You can also apply a Speed Upgrade, Stack Upgrade, or Automation Upgrade to the Auto Chisel to enhance its operation. The Reversion Upgrade allows you to revert a chiseled block back to its original form.
