Setting Up the Auto Chisel

Craft an Auto Chisel and place it in the world. The Auto Chisel is a block that automatically converts input blocks into a chosen variant. Open its interface by right-clicking it. Insert the block you want to chisel into the input slot and select the target variant. The Auto Chisel will process the block and output the variant.

Power and Upgrades

The Auto Chisel requires no external power source. It operates on its own. To improve its functionality, apply upgrades. The Speed Upgrade increases the rate at which the Auto Chisel processes blocks. The Stack Upgrade allows it to process multiple blocks at once. The Automation Upgrade enables the Auto Chisel to pull from adjacent inventories and push to them, fully automating the process.

Using the Reversion Upgrade

The Reversion Upgrade is used to revert a chiseled block back to its original unchiseled form. Apply it to the Auto Chisel to enable reversion. This is useful if you want to recycle chiseled blocks or correct mistakes. Insert the chiseled block and select the original block as the output.

Practical Automation

Place a chest next to the Auto Chisel. Put raw blocks in the chest. With the Automation Upgrade installed, the Auto Chisel will pull blocks from the chest, chisel them, and output the variants into another chest or inventory. Combine with Speed and Stack Upgrades for high-throughput processing. This setup lets you mass-produce variants of Concrete, Factory Block, Futura Block, Grimstone, Hex Plating, Holystone, Laboratory Block, Lavastone, Military, Mossy Blackstone, Mossy Temple Block, Paperwall, Road Lines, Shingles, Technical Block, Temple Block, Tyrian, Valentine's Block, Voidstone, Warning Sign, and Waterstone.
