Base Blocks That Convert

Chipped adds stone-family variants including Andesite Bricks, Andesite Mini Tiles, Andesite Pillar, Andesite Pillar Top, Andesite Scales, Andesite Gravel, and Andesite Pointed Dripstone. The same pattern applies to other stone types such as Deepslate, Diorite, Granite, Calcite, and Blackstone.

Step-by-Step

1. Gather the base stone block (Andesite, Deepslate, and so on).

2. Bring an Alchemy Book and place an Alchemy Bench.

3. Use the base block on the Alchemy Bench to cycle through its variants.

4. Stop when the bench produces the variant you want — for example Andesite Pillar for a column, or Andesite Scales for a floor pattern.

5. Place Andesite Pillar Top on top of Andesite Pillar to cap a column cleanly.

Building With the Results

Use Andesite Bricks and Andesite Mini Tiles for walls where you want a tighter texture than plain Andesite. Andesite Scales read well as roofing or flooring. Andesite Gravel works as a decorative ground cover. Andesite Pointed Dripstone is a stalactite-style accent for ceilings and cave builds. Mixing two or three variants of the same stone in one wall gives depth without introducing a new material palette.
