How to Craft and Place the Glass Wind Bell

Crafting the Glass Wind Bell

The Glass Wind Bell is one of the five chime blocks in the Chimes Mod. It is made with a shaped crafting recipe that uses glass. Gather sand, smelt it into glass blocks in a furnace, then bring the glass to a crafting table.

Arrange the glass in the shaped pattern for the Glass Wind Bell recipe. The recipe outputs one Glass Wind Bell block. If you are short on glass, smelt more sand first — the bell consumes glass as its main ingredient.

Placing and Using It

Hold the Glass Wind Bell and right-click a solid surface to place it. It behaves like the other chime blocks: a decorative block you can hang on walls or ceilings around a build. Because it is glass-based, it fits builds where you want a lighter, transparent look rather than the metal chimes.

If you want a matching set, craft the Copper Wind Chime and Iron Wind Chime alongside it using their own shaped recipes. The Glass Wind Bell is the only glass-based chime, so it stands out visually from the Amethyst, Bamboo, Copper, and Iron chimes.
