Chimes Mod: Which Chime to Craft First

Match the Chime to Your Materials

The Chimes Mod has five chime blocks, each with its own shaped crafting recipe. The fastest one to make depends on what you already have in your inventory.

• Have bamboo? Craft the Bamboo Wind Chime.
• Have copper ingots? Craft the Copper Wind Chime.
• Have iron ingots? Craft the Iron Wind Chime.
• Have sand and fuel? Smelt glass and craft the Glass Wind Bell.
• Have amethyst shards? Craft the Amethyst Wind Chime.

Progression Order

Early game, bamboo and glass are the easiest to obtain, so the Bamboo Wind Chime and Glass Wind Bell are good first crafts. Copper comes next once you find copper ore. Iron is common underground, so the Iron Wind Chime follows quickly. The Amethyst Wind Chime is the last one for most players because amethyst requires finding a geode.

Each chime is crafted at a crafting table with a shaped recipe and places as a single block. Craft them in whatever order your materials allow, and place them around a base to use all five.
