Building a Golem Inside a Cavity

Required Parts

A cavity golem needs three components: Golem Core, Golem Plating, and Golem Cable. Each is a distinct item. Gather all three before opening the cavity.

Insertion Steps

1. Open the cavity with a Chest Opener or Cleaver.

2. Insert the Golem Core first. This is the anchor.

3. Insert Golem Plating to give the golem structure.

4. Insert Golem Cable to connect the core to the plating.

5. Add Piston Muscle if you want the golem to have driven movement.

6. Add an Inner Furnace if you want the cavity to smelt items placed inside it.

Supporting Organs

Saltwater Heart, Saltwater Lung, and Saltwater Muscle are stable organs that pair well with a golem build because they do not carry the raw/cooked rejection risk. Insert them alongside the golem parts to keep the cavity functional.

Operating the Result

Once the core, plating, and cable are in place, the cavity behaves as a golem host. The Inner Furnace, if installed, processes smeltable items you place in the cavity. Piston Muscle adds mechanical motion. Remove any part by reopening the cavity and taking it out.

Keep spare Golem Cores, Plating, and Cable on hand — replacing a damaged part is faster than rebuilding from scratch.
