How to Craft and Use an Argon Lamp

Argon Lamp is a light source you build from Argon Gas. You need a supply of Argon Gas before you can make one, so plan your gas handling first.

Getting Argon Gas

Argon Gas is stored in an Argon Gas Bucket when you move it around. Keep the bucket in your inventory or a chest until you are ready to craft. Do not place the bucket down as a block unless you want the gas released into the world as an Argon Gas block.

Crafting the Lamp

Once you have Argon Gas on hand, use a crafting_shaped recipe to combine it into an Argon Lamp. The lamp is the finished product, so the gas is consumed in the process. Place the Argon Lamp wherever you need steady light.

Practical Notes

Argon Lamp is one of several gas-based lamps in the registry, alongside Helium Lamp, Krypton Lamp, and Neon Lamp. If you are producing multiple noble gases, you can craft a matching set of lamps. Store spare Argon Gas Buckets away from your crafting area so you do not accidentally place them as blocks. If you run low, gather more Argon Gas and repeat the shaped recipe.
