Building a Neon Lamp

Neon Lamp is a light block produced from Neon Gas with a crafting_shaped recipe. It matches the other noble-gas lamps in the registry.

Get Neon Gas Ready

Neon Gas comes in a Neon Gas Bucket. Keep it as a bucket until you reach a crafting grid. If you place the bucket, it becomes a Neon Gas block instead of remaining a portable gas container.

Craft and Place

Use the shaped recipe with Neon Gas to craft a Neon Lamp. The gas is consumed by the recipe. Place the finished Neon Lamp where you want light.

Set Building

The other noble-gas lamps are Argon Lamp, Helium Lamp, and Krypton Lamp. Each uses its own gas. If you are producing noble gases, craft one of each lamp for a matching set. Store gas buckets by type so you grab the right one when running a shaped recipe. Once a lamp is placed, you need fresh Neon Gas to make another, so keep a spare bucket if you plan to light a large area.
