How to Upgrade Chargers to Higher Tiers

The Upgrade Recipe Type

Higher chargers are not crafted from scratch. The mod uses a charger upgrade recipe to turn one tier into the next. The progression is linear: Charger Tier I becomes Charger Tier II, Charger Tier II becomes Charger Tier III, and Charger Tier III becomes Charger Tier IV. You cannot skip tiers.

Step-by-Step Upgrade

1. Place your current charger block down.

2. Gather the items required by the upgrade recipe for the next tier.

3. Apply the upgrade so the existing block is replaced by the next tier.

Each upgrade keeps the same block position, so you do not need to move anything. The result is a higher tier with better charging range and speed than the tier below it.

Plan your upgrades in order. If you are at Charger Tier I, your next target is Charger Tier II. From Charger Tier II you go to Charger Tier III, and from Charger Tier III you go to Charger Tier IV. Charger Tier IV is the top of the chain, so no further upgrade exists for it.

Because upgrades consume materials at each step, decide early whether you want to push all the way to Charger Tier IV or stop at an intermediate tier that fits your base.
