How to Craft a Charger Tier I

Gather the Ingredients

Charger Tier I is the entry point of the charger chain. You need the base crafting materials for the shaped recipe that produces it. Once crafted, place the Charger Tier I block down like any normal block.

Place and Use the Charger

Put the Charger Tier I on the ground where you want charging to happen. Stand or place the item you want charged in range of the block. The Charger Tier I is the lowest tier, so it covers the smallest area and charges the slowest of the four tiers. If you need more range or speed, you will upgrade it rather than craft a separate block from scratch.

Keep the Charger Tier I in place as the foundation for your upgrade path. Every higher tier is reached by upgrading an existing charger, not by building a new one from raw materials. That means the block you place now becomes the Charger Tier II, then Charger Tier III, then Charger Tier IV as you feed it the upgrade recipe.

If you only need a single small charging spot, Charger Tier I is enough. If you plan to expand, leave room around it so the larger tiers have space to operate.
