Choosing Between Tiered Chargers and the Wireless Charger

Two Separate Paths

The mod gives you two ways to charge: the tiered charger line and the Wireless Charger. They are built differently and upgraded differently, so pick based on what you need.

The Tiered Line

The tiered line runs Charger Tier I, Charger Tier II, Charger Tier III, and Charger Tier IV. You start by crafting a Charger Tier I, then upgrade it step by step. Each upgrade uses the charger upgrade recipe and moves you exactly one tier up. Charger Tier IV is the end of the chain. This path rewards investment: the further you upgrade, the better the charger becomes.

The Wireless Charger

The Wireless Charger is crafted directly with a shaped recipe. It is not part of the Tier I to Tier IV upgrade chain and cannot be upgraded into a tiered charger or vice versa. Choose it when you want a standalone wireless charging block rather than an upgradable one.

A simple rule: if you want a charger you can keep improving, build a Charger Tier I and upgrade toward Charger Tier IV. If you want a dedicated wireless block, craft the Wireless Charger. You can keep both in the same base, since they serve different setups and do not compete for the same upgrade materials.
