What the Scanner Does

The Chance Cube Scanner is your inspection tool. Before you break a Chance Cube, Giant Chance Cube, or Compact Giant Chance Cube, use the Scanner on it to learn what you are dealing with. This turns a blind gamble into an informed decision.

Scanning Step by Step

1. Craft or obtain a Chance Cube Scanner.

2. Hold the Scanner and use it on the Chance Cube you want to check.

3. Read the result before breaking the cube.

If the scan reveals a bad outcome, do not break the cube. Instead, use a Silk Touch Chance Pendant to pick it up safely, or a Reward Selector Pendant to override the result with something you actually want.

Pairing With Pendants

The Scanner works best alongside the pendant family. Tier 1 Chance Pendant, Tier 2 Chance Pendant, and Tier 3 Chance Pendant give you escalating control over cube outcomes. The Reward Selector Pendant and Single Use Reward Selector Pendant let you choose a specific reward. The Creative Chance Pendant is the unlimited-control option.

Scan first, then decide: break it, silk-touch it, or reselect the reward. This loop keeps you from losing gear to a bad cube.
