Adjust Lighting Intensity and Shadow Depth

Access Shader Settings

Open the shader options menu by pressing the designated key (usually found in your video settings or shader menu). Look for the CG E LITE Shaders configuration panel.

Modify Lighting Parameters

Locate the lighting intensity slider. Increase this value to brighten overall scene lighting, or decrease it for moodier, more dramatic shadows. This affects how sunlight and ambient light interact with your world.

Find the shadow depth or shadow distance control. Higher values create longer, more pronounced shadows that stretch further across terrain. Lower values make shadows shorter and softer, useful if you prefer a flatter appearance.

Fine-tune Ambient Occlusion

If available, adjust ambient occlusion strength to control how dark crevices and corners appear. Higher settings darken recessed areas realistically; lower settings keep everything brighter.

Apply and Test

Save your changes and observe how different times of day (sunrise, noon, sunset) look with your new settings. Revisit caves and outdoor areas to see how shadows behave. You can always return to adjust further—there's no penalty for experimenting.
