Set Up the Resource Pack Correctly

Load the Base Pack First

This resource pack requires the original legacy Cartoon Texture Pack to function properly. Install and activate the base pack in your resource pack folder before enabling the Cartoon Texture Concept Update.

Activate Both Packs in Order

1. Open your resource packs folder in Minecraft

2. Place both the base Cartoon Texture Pack and the Concept Update pack inside

3. In Minecraft, go to Options > Resource Packs

4. Move the base pack to the active list first

5. Move the Concept Update pack directly above it in your active packs

6. The update pack should load on top of the base pack

Verify the Textures Load

Create a new world and check that blocks appear with the colorful cartoon style. If you see default gray textures or mismatched looks, the packs may be in the wrong order. Swap their positions and reload the game. You should see consistent cartoon styling across all wood types, mobs, and boats once properly configured.
