Crafting the Capability Proxy

Place a Capability Proxy as the core block of any proxy setup. It is produced through a shaped crafting recipe. Arrange the required ingredients in the crafting grid in the pattern the recipe expects; the result is one Capability Proxy block. Because the mod only defines shaped and shapeless crafting recipes, every proxy block in this mod comes from a crafting table rather than a machine.

Placing and Using It

1. Craft the Capability Proxy.

2. Place it against or next to the block or machine you want to expose.

3. Interact with the placed proxy to access the capability it forwards.

The Capability Proxy is the general-purpose block. Use it when you want a single block that relays a capability from whatever it is attached to. If you need to target a moving or living thing rather than a fixed block, use the Entity Capability Proxy. If you need to move items specifically, use the Item Capability Proxy. For reaching targets at a distance, use the Ranged Capability Proxy.

All four are separate blocks with their own recipes, so craft the one that matches your target. Keep the Capability Proxy on hand as your default and swap to a specialized proxy only when the target type demands it.
