Capture a Multi-Map Photo and Display It as Wall Art

Taking a Scaled Photo

To create a larger photo spanning multiple maps, use the scale parameter with the camera command. Hold your camera item and aim at the scene you want to capture, then run:

`

/camera-obscura <scale>

`

Replace <scale> with a number up to 3 to create a 3×3 grid of maps (for example, scale 2 creates a 2×2 arrangement). The mod will render the scene across multiple map items and add them all to your inventory.

Displaying Your Multi-Map Photo

Once you have your scaled maps, arrange them in item frames on a wall to recreate the full image. Place item frames in a grid pattern matching your scale—a scale 2 photo needs a 2×2 frame arrangement. Insert each map into its corresponding frame in order. The maps are numbered, making it easier to arrange them correctly.

This technique works best for landscapes and large builds where you want an impressive wall display. Ensure you have enough wall space before capturing, and consider the lighting in your build area for the best render quality.
