Pick the right shape for the job

Both sets share the same four shapes, so plan the shape before you craft.

• Full block: Warped Nether Bricks, Withered Blackstone, Chiseled Warped Nether Bricks, Chiseled Withered Blackstone, Cracked Withered Blackstone.
• Slab: Warped Nether Brick Slab, Withered Blackstone Slab, Cracked Withered Blackstone Slab.
• Stairs: Warped Nether Brick Stairs, Withered Blackstone Stairs, Cracked Withered Blackstone Stairs.
• Vertical slab: Warped Nether Brick Vertical Slab, Withered Blackstone Vertical Slab, Cracked Withered Blackstone Vertical Slab.

Mix materials for depth

Use Warped Nether Bricks as the cool-toned structural block and Withered Blackstone as the warm, ashen one. Chiseled Warped Nether Bricks and Chiseled Withered Blackstone are the accent faces; place them in single columns, door surrounds and cornices rather than across whole walls.

Cracked Withered Blackstone is the aged counterpart of Withered Blackstone. Scatter it through Withered Blackstone runs, then repeat the pattern with Cracked Withered Blackstone Slab, Cracked Withered Blackstone Stairs and Cracked Withered Blackstone Vertical Slab at the edges of the build.

Vertical slabs are the tool for thin walls, railings and window frames. Stairs handle rooflines, ledges and stepped floors. Slabs close the gaps at the top of a wall or form a half-height floor. Because every shape is available for both the warped and withered families, you can keep one silhouette and swap the material to separate two rooms or two halves of the same structure.
