How to Craft Withered Blackstone, Its Slabs, Stairs and Vertical Slabs

Build the withered set from the base block

Withered Blackstone is the plain block of the set. Everything else in the withered family is derived from it, so craft a stack of Withered Blackstone first.

1. Craft Withered Blackstone with its shaped recipe.

2. Craft Withered Blackstone Slab from Withered Blackstone in the crafting grid.

3. Craft Withered Blackstone Stairs from Withered Blackstone in the crafting grid.

4. Craft Withered Blackstone Vertical Slab from Withered Blackstone in the crafting grid.

Cut the same pieces on a stonecutter

Withered Blackstone Slab, Withered Blackstone Stairs and Withered Blackstone Vertical Slab are all available from the stonecutter as well. Feed Withered Blackstone into the stonecutter and pick the shape you need. This is the faster route when you are converting a large amount of the base block into one shape.

Chiseled Withered Blackstone is the carved variant. Craft it from Withered Blackstone with the shaped recipe, or select it in the stonecutter. Use Chiseled Withered Blackstone as an accent band or pillar face, and plain Withered Blackstone for floors and large wall areas. Vertical slabs are useful for thin dividers and window reveals where a full slab would be too thick.
