How to Craft and Use Honeycomb Bricks, Tiles, and Their Variants

Making the base blocks

Combine Honeycomb Bricks in a crafting grid to get the base block. From there, Honeycomb Bricks can be cut into Honeycomb Tiles, or crafted into Honeycomb Brick Slab, Honeycomb Brick Stairs, and Honeycomb Brick Wall. Honeycomb Tiles likewise break down into Honeycomb Tile Slab, Honeycomb Tile Stairs, and Honeycomb Tile Wall. Chiseled Honeycomb Bricks are a separate decorative variant you can craft from the same material line.

All of these variants are also available through the stonecutter, which is the faster route once you have a stack of Honeycomb Bricks: place the block in the stonecutter and pick the exact slab, stair, wall, or tile shape you need without spending extra material on shaped recipes.

Building with the set

Use Honeycomb Brick Slab and Honeycomb Tile Slab for floors and ceilings where you want a thinner profile, Honeycomb Brick Stairs and Honeycomb Tile Stairs for roofs and steps, and the matching walls for railings and dividers. Because bricks and tiles share a palette, mixing them in one build reads as a single texture family. Chiseled Honeycomb Bricks work well as a focal panel or pillar face between plain brick sections.

For doors and access, craft a Honeycomb Door and a Honeycomb Trapdoor from the same material. These match the brick and tile blocks, so entrances do not break the look of a honeycomb-themed room.
