Setting Up Your Butcher Station

Place a Butcher Block as the center of your work area. Hang a Meat Hook Item above or beside it to hold carcasses and large cuts while you break them down. Keep your Butcher Knife, Gutting Knife, and Bone Saw within reach — each tool handles a different stage of processing, and swapping between them on the same carcass is the normal workflow.

Wearing the Butcher's Set

Equip Butcher's Apron, Butcher's Gloves, Butcher's Boots, and Butcher's Mask before you start. The set is designed for working with raw meat and blood, and wearing the full outfit lets you handle Bottle of Blood, Bucket of Blood, and organ items without the mess interfering with your other tasks. The Paper Hat is a lighter alternative if you only need partial coverage.

Hoods and Masks

Animal hoods — Cow Hood, Pig Hood, Goat Hood, and Chicken Mask — are wearable head items tied to the animals you process. Craft the hood matching the animal you slaughter most. The Butcher's Mask is the general-purpose option and pairs with the rest of the apron set. Store finished cuts on the Butcher Block or in nearby chests so your station stays organized between slaughter sessions.
