Cooking Meat with Campfire, Furnace, and Smoker in ButcherCraft
Three Cooking Methods
Every raw cut in ButcherCraft can be cooked three ways: campfire_cooking, smelting in a furnace, and smoking in a smoker. All three produce the same cooked result, so pick based on what you have built. Campfires are cheapest early, furnaces are reliable, and smokers finish fastest when you are processing a large batch of Ribs, Roasts, or Ground meat.
What Each Cut Becomes
Raw Beef Block cooks into Cooked Beef Block; the same pattern applies to Pork, Lamb, Goat, Chicken, and Rabbit blocks. Individual cuts follow their own names: Cooked Beef Ribs, Cooked Beef Roast, Cooked Beef Scraps, Cooked Beef Stew Meat, Cooked Cubed Beef, and Cooked Ground Beef. Organ meats cook too — Cooked Liver, Cooked Heart, Cooked Kidney, Cooked Lung, Cooked Stomach, Cooked Intestines, Cooked Brain, Cooked Eyeball, Cooked Tongue, and Cooked Oxtail. Chicken parts include Cooked Chicken Breast, Cooked Chicken Leg, Cooked Chicken Thigh, Cooked Chicken Wing, and Cooked Chicken Scraps. Rabbit gives Cooked Rabbit Leg, Cooked Rabbit Saddle, Cooked Rabbit Thigh, and Cooked Rabbit Scrap.
Sausages and Stews
Cook Blood Sausage Mix into Cooked Blood Sausage, and plain Sausage into Cooked Sausage. Linked Sausage and Linked Blood Sausage are cooked as whole links. Stew meats combine into Cooked Stew Chicken and Cooked Stew Rabbit. Once cooked, most cuts can be eaten directly or packed into blocks like Cooked Beef Block for storage.
