The Barn Wood Set

Barn Wood Block is the base building material. From it you can craft a full family of shapes: Barn Wood Slab, Barn Wood Stairs, Barn Wood Fence, Barn Wood Fence Gate, Barn Wood Door, and Barn Wood Trapdoor. These are standard wooden building variants, so they snap together the same way vanilla wood does — use slabs for floors, stairs for rooflines, fences and gates for pens, and doors and trapdoors for animal enclosures.

Building a Slaughterhouse

A practical barn uses Barn Wood Block for walls, Barn Wood Slab for the floor so you can place a Butcher Block flush, and Barn Wood Stairs for the roof pitch. Line the interior with Barn Wood Fence to separate holding pens for cows, pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, and rabbits. Use Barn Wood Fence Gate at each pen entrance so you can move animals in and out without jumping. Barn Wood Door marks the main entrance, and Barn Wood Trapdoor works as a hatch over a Grinder Block or storage pit.

Storage and Display

Barn Wood Slab makes good shelving for Cooked Beef Block, Cooked Pork Block, Cooked Sausage Block, and Cooked Blood Sausage Block. Stack the cooked blocks on Barn Wood Slab shelves along the wall so you can see your stock at a glance. Barn Wood Stairs double as display steps for Linked Sausage and Linked Blood Sausage hung near the Butcher Block.
