Switching Between Block Types in the Building Gadget

Changing Your Active Block

The Building Gadget stores a selection of blocks for quick swapping. Open the gadget's interface (usually by sneaking and right-clicking) to access your block palette. Select the block type you want to use from your inventory or recent blocks list.

Managing Your Palette

You can customize which blocks appear in your quick-access list. Add frequently-used blocks so you don't waste time searching during building sessions. Remove blocks you rarely need to keep the interface clean and efficient.

Quick Swapping During Building

Once you've set up your palette, switching between blocks is instant. This lets you:

• Layer different materials without stopping
• Create detailed patterns and designs
• Respond quickly to design changes
• Mix block types for aesthetic variety

The Create-themed resource pack makes it easy to see which block is currently selected, thanks to the mechanical styling of the gadget interface.
