Pick a Wood First

Choose one plank type as the base of your build: Acacia Planks, Bamboo Planks, Birch Planks, Cherry Planks, Crimson Planks, Dark Oak Planks, Jungle Planks, Mangrove Planks, Oak Planks, Spruce Planks, or Warped Planks. Craft the matching Furniture Kit for that wood so all furnishings share the same style. For example, Birch Planks pair with a Birch Furniture Kit, and Mangrove Planks pair with a Mangrove Furniture Kit.

Choose a Stone Partner

Select a stone or mineral family to contrast with the wood. Options with full stairs and slabs include Andesite, Calcite, Cobblestone, Deepslate, Diorite, Dripstone, Granite, Prismarine, Sandstone, Tuff, and Stone Bricks, plus Amethyst Block and Bricks. Use the full block for walls and the matching stairs and slabs for edges and floors.

Assemble the Palette

A simple formula: one wood plank for interior walls and furniture, one stone family for exterior walls and paths, and one accent block such as Gilded Blackstone or Gilded Nether Bricks for feature spots. Use the Iron Chisel on stone blocks to add texture without changing material.

Build in Order

Lay the stone foundation and walls first using full blocks, stairs, and slabs. Then add the wood interior with planks and the matching Furniture Kit. Finish with accents. Keeping to one wood and one stone family keeps the build readable and makes it easy to restock materials.
