How to Craft Storage: Cabinets, Cupboards, and Bookshelves

This mod adds three storage-style furniture blocks per wood type: Cabinet, Cupboard, and Bookshelf. Each is crafted at the Carpenter's Table using the buildersaddition2:carpenter recipe type with the matching planks.

Wood variants include Acacia, Bamboo, Birch, Cherry, and Crimson. So you can craft an Acacia Cabinet, a Birch Cupboard, a Cherry Bookshelf, a Bamboo Cabinet, a Crimson Bookshelf, and so on.

Crafting Each Type

Bring your chosen planks to the Carpenter's Table and select the storage recipe. The Cabinet is a tall storage block suited to kitchens and workshops. The Cupboard is a compact storage block for smaller spaces. The Bookshelf is a display and storage block for books and decorative items.

Organizing a Build

Line a wall with Cabinets for a kitchen or storage room. Use Cupboards in tight corners or beside Bedside Tables. Place Bookshelves in a study or library alongside a Table and Chairs.

Because all three share the same wood palette as the rest of the furniture line, you can combine Cabinets, Cupboards, and Bookshelves of the same wood for a uniform look, or mix woods for contrast. Keep a stock of each plank type at your Carpenter's Table so you can produce matching storage on demand.
