How to Open Buddycard Packs and Start a Collection

Opening Your First Packs

Obtain a Buddycard Pack or a Mystery Buddycard Pack. Hold it and use it to open it. Each pack yields Buddycards that you can then store, display, or grade. If you want to open many at once, place a Buddycard Booster Box and interact with it to pull packs from it in bulk rather than opening them one at a time.

Storing What You Pull

Cards pulled from packs need somewhere to live. Craft a Buddycard Binder for a portable collection, or a Large Buddycard Binder when your set outgrows the small one. Both binders hold cards and let you flip through them without dropping them in a chest. Keep your binders in your inventory so you can sort new pulls immediately after opening.

Sorting and Duplicates

Duplicate cards are not wasted. Set aside extras for grading (see the grading guide) and keep one of each card in your binder for a complete set. If you are chasing a specific card, buy more Buddycard Packs or Mystery Buddycard Packs and open them in batches. A Buddycard Booster Box is the fastest way to accumulate a large stack of packs before a long opening session.
