Set Up Discord Logging for All Staff Actions

Automatic Discord Integration

The Ban Hammer Plugin can send real-time logs of every punishment to a Discord channel. This creates accountability for staff actions and keeps your entire team informed instantly.

Configuring Discord Connection

In your plugin configuration, locate the Discord settings section and add:

  • Your Discord bot token
  • The channel ID where logs should be posted
  • Color preferences for different punishment types (bans, kicks, mutes, warnings)

The plugin will automatically format messages with color-coding—for example, permanent bans might appear in red, temporary bans in yellow, and warnings in blue.

What Gets Logged

Every action is recorded:

  • Player name and UUID
  • Punishment type and duration
  • Reason provided
  • Staff member who issued the punishment
  • Timestamp

This log serves as evidence if players dispute their punishment and helps you audit whether staff are following your server rules fairly.
