Brightness Aura Classic removes the pitch-black nights that normally force players to sleep or hide. With the shader active, nighttime becomes as navigable as daytime.

Maintaining Gameplay Balance

Removing darkness is a convenience feature, not a difficulty modifier. Mobs, fall damage, and other hazards remain unchanged. If you want to preserve some challenge, consider keeping brightness at moderate levels (around 1000%) rather than maxing it out. This gives you enough visibility to play comfortably while maintaining some visual distinction between day and night cycles.
