Enable Brightness Aura Classic and Configure Basic Lighting

Activating the Shader

Brightness Aura Classic works as a core shader utility. Once installed, it should automatically integrate with your shader settings menu. Access your shader options through the Video Settings screen, then locate the Shaders submenu.

Adjusting Brightness Levels

The mod allows you to push lighting up to 1500% of the vanilla default. Start by opening your shader configuration panel:

1. Navigate to Video Settings → Shaders

2. Look for brightness or light level adjustment sliders

3. Increase the value incrementally to find your preferred visibility level

4. Test in different environments: caves, night-time, and indoors

Maintaining Vanilla Aesthetics

Brightness Aura Classic preserves the standard Minecraft look while removing darkness. This means your blocks, mobs, and terrain retain their original textures and colors—only the ambient light level changes. If the brightness feels too extreme, dial it back slightly rather than disabling the shader entirely. This gives you fine control over visibility without sacrificing the classic feel you're used to.
