Enable Greyscale Mode
Accessing Shader Settings
Greyscale mode transforms your entire view into black and white tones, useful for taking stylized screenshots or reducing visual fatigue. Open your shader options through the Video Settings menu in Minecraft.
Turning On Greyscale
1. Pause your game and open Options
2. Select Video Settings
3. Look for Shader Options or Shader Settings (this button appears when a shader is active)
4. Find the Greyscale or Monochrome toggle
5. Enable it and confirm
Your world will immediately shift to grayscale. All blocks, mobs, and the sky will render in shades of gray while maintaining the shader's shadow and lighting effects. You can toggle this on and off at any time without restarting the game.
Adjusting Other Settings
While in shader options, you may also find sliders for shadow intensity or lighting brightness. Experiment with these to find the look that works best for your system and playstyle.
