Adjust Shadow Intensity and Lighting
Finding Lighting Controls
Bright Pixels Shaders includes soft shadows that blend naturally with Minecraft's blocky style. You can fine-tune how prominent these shadows appear to match your preference.
Modifying Shadow Settings
1. Open Video Settings → Shader Options
2. Locate Shadow Intensity, Shadow Strength, or Shadow Brightness
3. Increase the value to make shadows darker and more defined
4. Decrease the value for softer, lighter shadows
5. Apply changes and observe the effect in-game
Adjusting Overall Brightness
If the world feels too dark or too bright:
- Look for Brightness or Exposure sliders in shader options
- Increase brightness if caves or shaded areas are hard to see
- Decrease brightness if the overall scene feels washed out
Testing Your Changes
Move between sunny and shaded areas to see how your adjustments affect lighting. Shadows under trees, overhangs, and in caves will show the most dramatic changes. Experiment until the balance feels right for your gameplay.
