Installation and Configuration

Bridgekeeper Protocol Plugin automatically protects your server when authentication servers go down. After installing on your Bukkit, Spigot, Paper, or BungeeCord server, configure your storage method—choose between local FlatFile or MySQL database for player authentication records.

Use /alwaysonline enable to activate automated authentication checks. The plugin monitors connection status in the background with minimal resource impact. When session servers drop, returning players can still join if their IP address matches their previous session record. New unknown accounts are blocked until authentication returns.

Use /alwaysonline toggle to manually switch between offline and standard modes, or /alwaysonline reload to refresh settings. Grant players the alwaysonline.notify permission to receive chat alerts when authentication status changes.
