How to Use the Petal Apothecary

Setting Up the Apothecary

Place a Petal Apothecary and fill it with water using a Bowl of Water or a bucket. Right-click the Apothecary with a Bowl of Water to fill it. Once filled, the Apothecary is ready to accept petals and other ingredients.

Crafting with Petals

Right-click the filled Apothecary with the required petals one at a time. Each petal is consumed and added to the mix. After all petals are added, right-click with the final ingredient (often a seed or other item) to complete the recipe. The crafted item will pop out above the Apothecary.

Petal colors are obtained by crafting Buried Petals or by using flowers. For example, a Buried White Petal, Buried Red Petal, and so on. The Apothecary accepts any petal color as long as the recipe calls for it. Many basic Botania items like the Agricarnation, Bellethorne, and Bubbell are made this way. Always check the recipe in the Lexica Botania for exact petal combinations. After crafting, the Apothecary remains filled with water and can be reused immediately. If you need to empty it, right-click with an empty hand to remove the water.
