How to Open the Alfheim Portal and Get Elementium

Building the Portal

The Alfheim portal requires two Natura Pylons and a Portal Core. Place the two pylons a few blocks apart, then place the Portal Core between them. The portal activates when both pylons are powered.

To power a Natura Pylon, place a Mana Pool nearby and fill it with mana. The pylon draws mana from the pool. You need two pools, one for each pylon, or a way to feed both.

Activating and Using the Portal

Once both pylons have mana, the portal opens. Right-click the Portal Core to enter Alfheim. Inside, you find Elementium Ore, Dreamwood, and other resources.

Mine Elementium Ore and bring it back. Smelt it into Elementium Ingots. Elementium is used for Elementium tools, armor, and the Elementium Pickaxe.

Alfheim Resources

Alfheim contains Dreamwood logs, which craft into Dreamwood Planks and Dreamwood tools. It also contains Pixie Dust, which drops from Pixies. Pixie Dust is used in several recipes, including the Elementium Ingot recipe.

You can also find the Alfheim portal's return portal inside. Step through it to return to the overworld.

Keeping the Portal Open

The portal stays open as long as the pylons have mana. If the mana runs out, the portal closes. Keep your Mana Pools filled and your generating flowers running to maintain access.
