How to Get Mana and Use a Mana Pool

Generating Mana

Mana is produced by generating flowers placed on grass or dirt. Common early generators include the Agricarnation, Bellethorne, and Bubbell. Each flower has its own condition: Agricarnation boosts nearby crops, Bellethorne damages mobs, Bubbell consumes water. Place the flower and it will slowly fill an adjacent Mana Pool with mana. You can also use a Mana Spreader to move mana from a pool to another block.

Using a Mana Pool

Place a Mana Pool next to your generating flower. The flower will automatically transfer mana into the pool. To use mana, throw items into the pool or right-click with an item. For example, throwing a Mana Diamond into a pool infuses it. Mana is also used to craft items at a Runic Altar or Terra Plate. To check mana levels, right-click the pool with an empty hand. Mana can be stored in multiple pools and moved with a Mana Spreader. The Alchemy Catalyst can be placed under a Mana Pool to unlock additional recipes. Always ensure your generating flowers have the correct environment to keep mana flowing.
