How to Generate and Store Mana with Flowers and Pools

Generating Mana

Mana comes from generating flowers placed on grass or dirt. Each generating flower produces mana passively or from a specific action, and sends it to a nearby Mana Spreader. The Mana Spreader fires a mana burst toward a Mana Pool.

Place generating flowers within range of a Mana Spreader, and place the Mana Spreader so it points at a Mana Pool. The pool fills with mana. You can check the pool's mana level by looking at it.

Common generating flowers include the Endoflame, which burns fuel, and the Hydroangeas, which consumes water. Each has different placement and fuel requirements, so read the flower's tooltip.

Storing and Moving Mana

Mana Pools store mana. A Mana Pool holds a limited amount; a Diluted Mana Pool holds less but is cheaper to make. Use a Mana Tablet to carry mana with you, or a Mana Ring for passive storage.

To move mana between pools, use a Mana Spreader aimed at the destination pool. To move mana into a Terrestrial Agglomeration Plate or other mana-consuming block, aim a Mana Spreader at it.

Mana Spreaders

Mana Spreaders come in several tiers. The basic Mana Spreader fires one burst at a time. The Elven Mana Spreader fires faster and further. The Gaia Mana Spreader is the highest tier. Upgrade a Mana Spreader by crafting it with the appropriate materials.

Lenses attach to Mana Spreaders to change the burst's behavior. A Bore Lens breaks blocks, a Bounce Lens makes the burst bounce, and a Celebratory Lens creates fireworks. Attach a lens by right-clicking the spreader with it.
