Crafting the Staff of Suppression

The Staff of Suppression is both a craftable item and a placeable block. Follow the crafting_shaped recipe for the Staff of Suppression, placing the required ingredients in the exact grid pattern shown. After crafting, you hold the Staff of Suppression as an item.

Suppressing Bosses and Effects

Use the Staff of Suppression during boss encounters to suppress hostile effects and abilities. When a boss begins channeling or applying a debuff, activate the Staff of Suppression to interrupt or negate it. This makes the Staff of Suppression a defensive tool you keep on your hotbar for every major fight.

The Staff of Suppression can also be placed as a block. Place it in an arena or near a boss room to create a persistent suppression zone. Position it before you summon a boss so the effect is active from the first moment of the fight. Retrieve it by breaking the block if you need to move the suppression zone elsewhere.

Pair the Staff of Suppression with the Blast Amplifier when you want to control both incoming effects and outgoing damage in the same encounter.
