Use BoomLib with Multiple Dependent Mods
Manage Your Mod Setup
BoomLib is designed to support multiple linked mods simultaneously. A single copy handles all of them:
1. Install BoomLib once in your mods folder.
2. Add any dependent mods (from the same mod family) to the same folder.
3. Launch Minecraft—BoomLib initializes first and provides shared resources to all dependent mods.
4. Each mod can now access BoomLib's code without duplication or conflicts.
Avoid Duplicate Libraries
Do not install BoomLib multiple times or alongside other library mods with similar names. This causes:
- Conflicting class definitions
- Unpredictable crashes
- Mods failing to communicate properly
If you're unsure whether you need BoomLib, check the mod description of each mod you install. It will explicitly state if BoomLib is required. One copy of BoomLib supports all sixteen linked mods without issues.
