How to Craft and Use a Boat with Furnace

Boat with Furnace is available for Oak, Spruce, Birch, Jungle, Acacia, Dark Oak, Cherry, and Mangrove. Bamboo uses Bamboo Raft with Furnace, and Stripped Bamboo Boat with Furnace also exists. You need a plain boat of the matching wood plus a vanilla furnace.

Crafting Steps

1. Craft the plain boat or raft from your wood type.

2. Combine it with a furnace in a crafting grid to produce the Boat with Furnace.

3. Place it on water and right-click to open the furnace interface.

Load fuel and input items as you would a normal furnace. Smelting continues while you paddle, so you can process ore, food, or sand during long crossings. Break the boat with an axe to recover it and any items inside the furnace slots.

Good Uses

Use a Boat with Furnace for fishing trips where you cook cod and salmon on the spot, or for mining expeditions where you smelt raw ore on the return journey. Combine with a Boat with Chest in a second boat if you need separate storage for fuel and output.
