Three special balloon types generate exclusively in specific biomes: Cherry Groves, Deserts, and Ice biomes. These rare variants are distinct from the six standard color variations found elsewhere. Rare balloons offer significantly better loot rewards than common balloons.

Biome-Specific Hunting

Travel to Cherry Grove biomes first—these are visually distinctive with pink foliage. Then explore Desert biomes with their sandy terrain. Finally, search Ice biomes with their frozen landscape and snow. Each biome's rare balloon is uniquely designed to match its environment.

Identifying Rare Balloons

Rare variants look noticeably different from standard balloons. They're themed to their biomes and appear less frequently. When you spot one, prioritize reaching it—the enhanced loot inside the main chest makes them valuable targets.
