Collecting All Balloon Color Variations

The Six Standard Colors

The data pack spawns six distinct color variations of hot air balloons throughout the overworld. Each color is visually unique and appears randomly across normal terrain. Collecting sightings of all six colors is a fun exploration challenge.

Where to Look

Standard balloons spawn in regular biomes—not the special Cherry Grove, Desert, or Ice variants. Travel across plains, forests, mountains, and other common biomes. The more you explore, the more color variations you'll encounter.

Spotting Strategy

Build a tall tower or find a high vantage point and scan the horizon. Balloons are large enough to spot from distance if you look carefully at the sky. Travel during daytime for better visibility. Keep moving between biomes to increase your chances of seeing different colors.

Tracking Progress

Consider taking screenshots of each color variation you find, or simply keep mental notes. Once you've documented all six standard colors, you'll have a complete picture of the common balloon palette in your world.
