Troubleshoot Visual Glitches or Performance Issues

Identifying Shader-Related Problems

If you notice visual artifacts, flickering, or unexpected rendering after installing Blue's Core Shaders, start by confirming the pack is the cause:

1. Disable Blue's Core Shaders temporarily and reload (F3 + T)

2. Check if the issue persists

3. Re-enable and observe whether the problem returns

Common issues include color banding, shadow artifacts, or water rendering problems—these often stem from shader edits interacting with your GPU or other mods.

Performance Optimization

If the pack causes lag or frame drops:

  • Lower your render distance or graphics settings
  • Disable other resource packs to isolate the load
  • Check your GPU drivers are up-to-date
  • Allocate more RAM to Minecraft if possible

Blue's Core is designed to be lightweight compared to full shader mods, but older hardware may still struggle. If performance remains poor, the pack may not be compatible with your system's capabilities. Consider using a simpler visual tweak pack instead.
